Trust and verification paperwork

Safety

Built for a fair floor

Reachable winners, visible balances, and human review of deposits—so bidding stays trustworthy even when the clock is ticking.

Auctions fail when money and identity are fuzzy. We require verified email before you can deposit or bid, hold funds on high bids, and have admins match every deposit claim before credit lands in a wallet.

Protections

How we reduce risk

  • Email verification

Required before depositing or bidding so we can always reach a winner.

  • Wallet holds

Your high bid locks funds from available balance—you can’t overspend across lots.

  • Admin deposit match

Every DEP- claim is reviewed against the payment method before credit.

  • Soft-close anti-snipe

Late bids extend endings so others can respond fairly.

  • Audit trail

Ledger entries and admin audit logs track money movement over time.

  • Account controls

Suspended accounts can’t bid or deposit until ops clears the issue.

What we ask of bidders

  • Use a real email you check daily during live auctions.
  • Only bid what you can settle—holds are binding when accepted.
  • Read lot specs and photos carefully; ask ops before high-value bids.
  • Don’t share account credentials or DEP- codes with others.

What we ask of consignors

  • Disclose title brands, accidents, and missing parts up front.
  • Provide accurate mileage/hours and ownership proof.
  • Keep items available for the logistics window after a sale.

See Sellers for intake expectations.

Report a problem

Suspicious activity

If you see bid manipulation attempts, phishing that mentions Best Auction Bidders, or a deposit mismatch, email ops immediately with timestamps, lot links, and screenshots.
