Consign with the floor

Staff-curated lots, honest descriptions, and a wallet-settled auction floor. Tell us what you’re selling—we’ll tell you if it’s a fit.

How consignment works today

Staff-listed inventory for the MVP

Best Auction Bidders currently lists lots through the ops team. That keeps descriptions consistent, photos honest, and bidding tied to verified wallets—especially for vehicles and other high-value goods.

If you have cars, computers, cameras, watches, furniture, machinery, or collectibles you’d like to consign, email us with photos and a short story of the item. We’ll reply with whether we can take it, what documentation we need, and a proposed reserve / start if the lot looks right.

What happens after you reach out

  1. You send photos, location, and condition notes (plus title status for vehicles).
  2. Ops reviews fit for category, demand, and logistics.
  3. We agree on listing copy, start price, reserve (optional), and pickup / shipping expectations.
  4. The lot goes live on the schedule; you get a heads-up when bidding opens.
  5. After a successful close, settlement follows the confirmed sale and any agreed commission.

Intake checklist

What we look for

Strong lots make bidding easier. The more complete your package, the faster we can publish.

Ownership & title

Clear title or ownership proof for vehicles and high-value goods. Note liens, salvage brands, or missing paperwork up front.

Honest condition

Miles / hours, service history, cosmetic flaws, missing accessories, and any “as-is” caveats—buyers reward transparency.

Photo set

Exterior, interior, VIN/labels, damage close-ups, and power-on shots for electronics. Vehicles: walkaround + dash + undercarriage if available.

Logistics ready

Local pickup path for bulky items; freight access for machinery; ship-ready packaging for small lots.

Realistic reserves

Reserves should reflect market comps. Unrealistic reserves sit unsold and frustrate the floor.

Story that sells

One owner? Recent service? Rare trim? A short narrative helps bidders decide before they open the wallet.

Vehicles need extra detail

Car lots perform best when bidders see the same depth we show on the storefront: trim, drivetrain, title status, accident notes, keys, tires, and pickup location. If you have a Carfax-style report, battery health screenshot (EVs), or service invoices, attach them—ops will summarize what’s material in the listing.

We do not currently offer drive-away until funds settle. Plan on buyer-arranged transport unless you and ops agree otherwise in writing.

Payouts & commissions

Seller self-serve and published commission tiers are coming later. For MVP consignments, ops will confirm any platform fee or commission in the acceptance email before the lot goes live—no surprise deductions after the hammer.
